Tuesday, October 21 - Art Institute Elevator Pitches
6:30pm First Pitch!
Art Institute of California – Orange County
3601 West Sunflower Avenue
Santa Ana, CA 92704
Back by popular demand!
IDSA-LA is proud to bring The Elevator Pitch to The Art Institute of Orange County.
We've asked the students to imagine they've just stepped onto an elevator with you or a well known designer like Philippe Starck and have challenged them to give their "Pitch". They have just enough time to convince you that they are worthy of an interview.
We are asking Design professionals to sit in on a rotating panel of three to watch the pitches and critique each student's ability to present themselves professionally. We will conclude with a Q&A session. In addition, student portfolios will be on display in "the shop"
Wouldn’t you like to volunteer to participate on the panel? Sure you would! Please contact Shelley Takahashi at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Design Within Reach (DWR) is once again offering a 15% discount to its extended family. Thanks to the efforts of IDSA's Oregon Chapter, it counts IDSA members among that family. Which means ALL IDSA members are eligible for that discount while it is available this month.
If you’re not an IDSA member, contact us for membership info. If you are an IDSA member, visit the IDSA.org at http://www.idsa.org/myidsa/ and log in to obtain the promotional code that you’ll need to get 15% off select DWR purchases.
Happy shopping! :)
